Non-Contract Clients

  1. You hereby give permission for an SCCL support engineer or agent to connect to and control the workstation which you are currently using.
  2. SCCL cannot be held liable for any loss of productivity in association with remote support, it is expected that you as the client have chosen the most convenient time for our support team to connect.
  3. You are giving authorisation for SCCL to charge you at £1 per minute for any remote support work that is provided to help get the issue resolved.
  4. If we are unable to resolve the issue remotely within a reasonable time we will suggest that an on-site engineer be scheduled to continue diagnostics. Additional on-site charges per hour will apply from there onward.

 
Support Contract Clients

  1. Your support account with SCCL must be fully up to date, and specifically not in arrears.
  2. You hereby give permission for an SCCL support engineer or agent to connect to and control the workstation/server which you are currently using.
  3. SCCL cannot be held liable for any loss of productivity in association with remote support, it is expected that you as the client have chosen the most convenient time for our support team to connect.
  4. If we are unable to resolve the issue remotely within a reasonable time we will suggest that an on-site engineer be scheduled to continue diagnostics onsite. Provide that your contract account is fully up to date then there will no additional charges whilst remaining within the bounds of your support agreement with SCCL.

 

Your data is your responsibility. The customer confirms that the necessary data backup and security measures are in place; and that SCCL accepts no liability whatsoever for loss of data/programs where these items have not been properly backed up by the customer on a regular basis.
